Chaves loves to be with us, his family. He always
wants to be where we are and he loves riding in the
car. He is very protective of his home and family. He
is always taking note of his surrounding whether he
is inside or out. Whatever room we're in he likes to
be near the window looking out. He rarely barks, but
only when he thinks it needs our immediate
attention. He does wine though, if he has spotted a
rabbit, squirrel, deer and even turkeys. We let him
out and he sprints to catch it, however not when it's
a deer. He has an amazing amount of speed. He is a
very loyal companion, independent, smart and very
affectionate. He loves to let us know how happy he
is to see us when we return from an outing. He is at
the door waiting for us as soon as we open it. His
tail is going a million miles an hour, his ears are
back and he has to give us a lot of kisses. He is very
good at letting us know his wishes. He enjoys our
daily morning walks outside the property. During the
day being with us, going outside to play with Chilli
and Nikkita, walking around the property taking in all
the different smells. In the evening he curls up on
the couch changing from one side to the other, so
he can be next to both of us.
